Yunku Technology exhibited at the China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition, presenting the smart safety harness range and the electronic perimeter alarm line to petrochemical operators, engineering contractors and international visitors.
The focus of the stand was the equipment configuration for hazardous areas, where the constraint is not detection capability but certification: personal monitors, cameras, lighting and communication devices all have to be permitted in the zone before any of their other attributes matter. The smart harness monitors were shown rated Ex ib IIC T4 Gb, with IP65 / IP66 ingress protection for washdown and outdoor environments.
A second theme was work at height on columns, tank roofs and derricks — the exposure pattern where harness use is most often skipped because the task takes minutes. The automatic height detection shown on the SBM3000 addresses exactly that case: monitoring begins when the wearer passes 2 m, with no registration step to forget.
Discussions with visitors centred on two recurring questions: how equipment certified against Chinese standards maps onto ATEX and IECEx requirements in other jurisdictions, and how the violation records produced by the harness monitors stand up in an incident investigation. Both remain the questions we are asked most often by overseas buyers.
